Anonymous asks: lol so you're saying we can't repost a Disney image with text that isn't even from you without properly linking back? That's pretty much a joke of you to say that.

I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to say here, but I’m sensing some anger. I will attempt to answer your question, ignore your slightly disparaging comment, and elaborate a bit more on the topic of watermarks and stamps.

Here at DLFLN and DGFLN, we take pride in our work. Yes, we use pictures and text that do not belong to us, but we still take the effort to pair the two together in an amusing fashion which we hope will please you, our followers. We fully acknowledge that we do not own anything Disney, nor did we send the texts on Texts From Last Night (as far as I know). By taking these hitherto completely unrelated products and combining them, we are making something new and different. We even try to avoid looking at other Disney/Texts From Last Night blogs so that there is no chance of us being influenced by or copying the work of others.

I don’t know if the other blogs that combine a fandom and Texts From Last Night stamp their images like we do, but that’s their decision. We do so because friends of ours who create graphics have had people copy an image, save it to their computer, and then post it to their blog as if they had created it. When they do that, the source at the bottom of the post changes, so there is no way to show who first created and posted the graphic. That’s not cool. Call us crazy, but we like to be properly credited when we do something. So if you’re complaining about the stamps we put on our images, I’m sorry, but they’re there to stay.

Hope everyone using the Gregorian Calendar had a happy New Year!
