Thanks nonnie, you too! :D

I used to think the D in the logo was a backwards G. Now I'm thinking about Gisnep.

Gisnep. Disnep’s jealous younger sister who attempted to steal her powers and rule her domain. Unfortunately, Gisnep will never be as good as Disnep. Disnep knows this. Gisnep knows this. So after the attempted coup, Disnep patted Gisnep on the head and gave her a cookie. Now Gisnep sulks in the corner and steals all the cookies.

The end.

*gives you a hug* Would you send this to the first ten people on your dash to keep it going?

NO I WILL NOT THIS IS MY HUG YOU GAVE IT TO ME AND I WON’T SHARE IT’S A THURSDAY MORNING AND I’M SUPER STRESSED AND I JUST CHUGGED SOME COFFEE

(Thanks for the hug I needed that.)

I used to think the 'y' in the Disney logo was a 'p'. I was always so confused as to why it said 'Disnep'.

Disnep. HA! Sounds like either an ancient goddess or somebody trying to say “this nap.”

The little swirl on the backwards G is just part of Uncle Walt's handwriting; there's a clip of him signing his name on a show called 'What's My Line' and you can see for yourself.

I wonder what a graphologist would say about all this. I would say that it probably has something to do with his flair and showmanship. But what do I know? I’m just a college kid, untrained in the super scientific ways of handwriting analysis.

Hello People!

So, R and I were talking last night after dinner, and we came up with a new idea for this site. We just sort of wanted to ask your opinion so we can keep this site as follower friendly as possible.

Do you remember when we did an audiopost?

Yeah. We were thinking of maybe doing another one! Sort of a reaction to a recently watched animated film or something. (Of the two of us, I must admit that I am the most delinquent when it comes to having seen Disney and other animation studios’ movies. My lack of a Disney-powered childhood is actually what helped propel us to make the site in the first place, in an indirect way.)

If you guys like the idea, we might even make reaction audioposts a semi-regular thing, depending on our respective work and extracurricular schedules.

Thoughts?

-B.

SAY YES.

I'm pretty sure every kid thought the Disney D was some sort of weird backwards G... I know I did.

Man, I didn’t even think it was a letter! When I was little, I once spent like five minutes staring at the keyboard trying to find that wonky symbol because I wanted to go to disney.com and play games. Somebody finally told me it started with a “D” and then it all made sense.
